I have made quite a few tarts in the past—some chocolatey (mmm I absolutely love chocolate), some fruity. Here are some of my tarts:

Grand chocolate tart

You can’t really tell from this picture, but this tart is actually made up of a cake layer and a ganache layer. I also had to make lacy-coffee-cocoa nougatine cookies (they’re more like candy than they are cookies) and put them on top of the tart.
French apple tart

I love how you can see the layer of jam at the bottom.
